Ready to build, not just support?
Are you a curious and driven student who loves structure, details and making things work better? Do you want real responsibility, broad HR exposure, and the chance to help build HR processes in a global industrial company with more than 125 years of history?
At DISA Industries, part of the Norican Group, we are looking for a Student Assistant in HR who is ready to take ownership, ask questions, and help us strengthen and develop our HR foundation.
This is not a “fetch‑and‑file” student job. This is a role where you’ll learn, contribute, and grow.
Why You’ll Love Working with Us
- A small, dynamic HR setup – locally it will be you and the HR Business Partner, working closely together with real responsibility and short decision paths
- Hands‑on HR from day one – you’ll help build, structure and improve HR processes rather than just support existing ones
- Strong global backing – while the local team is small, we are part of a larger global HR team across the Norican Group
- A business in motion – DISA combines more than a century of industrial heritage with ongoing change, digitalisation and development
- A pragmatic, people‑focused environment where things get done through trust, collaboration and ownership
This role is ideal for you, if you thrive in a setting where you get responsibility, variety and ample of opportunities to learn. At DISA, many people stay for a long time – not because they have to, but because they want to.
Who You Are
You’re about to finish your bachelor’s degree or currently studying your master’s, for example cand.merc.psyk, cand.soc.hrm or a similar relevant programme, and you’re ready to put theory into practice.
You are:
- Proactive, driven and curious, with a strong sense of ownership
- Genuinely interested in HR processes, people data and organisational structures
- Structured, detail‑oriented and analytical. You like things to be correct and well‑organised
- Comfortable working independently and following tasks through from start to finish
- Motivated by learning and by being part of building something, not just maintaining it
Most importantly: you enjoy learning, improving things, are curious by heart and enjoy being part of a small dynamic team.
What We Offer
- A student job with substance, responsibility and learning
- Insight into HR in a global industrial organisation
- A chance to build skills that matter for your future career
- A welcoming, down‑to‑earth culture with high professionalism
This role is a strong match if you’re looking for a student job where you learn by doing, take responsibility, and build a solid foundation for a future HR career. You bring the curiosity and drive, and we will help develop your skillset.
What You’ll Do
Your tasks will evolve as you grow in the role, but will include a mix of operational HR work, such as:
- Supporting and developing core HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Preparing and maintaining employment contracts, amendments and HR documentation for payroll
- Supporting the implementation and use of an HRIS, including data structure, quality and processes
- Ensuring HR data accuracy and well‑structured documentation
- Contributing to process design, standardisation and improvement
- Preparing analyses, overviews and HR material for local and global use
- Acting as a trusted HR support for employees and managers in daily matters
You’ll work closely with the HR Business Partner and gain insight into both local HR responsibility and global HR ways of working within Norican.
